As a lover of deck-builders in general and Star Realms in particular, I jumped at this one. Playing cards from the same faction still triggers bonuses giving your deck synergies as you invest in one faction of cards. Just like in Star Realms, there are 4 factions of different cards that you can purchase and add to your deck. Hero Realms - This is the fantasy version of Star Realms, the hit sci-fi duelling deck-building game, but it's also so much more. As a space explorer, there aren't a lot of fuel stops for you to pull in to when you start to run low on M&Ms. As you go out and explore the stars you'll need to tightly control when and how you spend your resources. Madness at Midnight - is a Lovecraft themed game where each player leads a team of cultists racing to try and be the first to unleash their Cthulhoid unspeakable horror on the world. You may have mere moments to look at this by the time I hit publish so go check it out. It also has one of the coolest wooden dice towers I have ever seen. The game features 34 unique generals who can be recruited and move around the board battling and supporting each other.
